DAN HOLMAN'S 300TH GAME (Hethersett A v Stoke League Cup Sunday 8th October 10.30)

Sunday saw Danny Holman play his 300th game for Hethersett Athletic, the first player in the clubs history to acheive this. It is a fantastic milestone and because of this Danny has been made an honourary life member of the club.

The game was an away league fixture against Stoke. The game started well for Hethersett on a terrible pitch. A great headed goal by Paul "Nookie" Martin put hethersett ahead but Stoke quickly equalised on a quick counter attack.

Hethersett created lots of chances but couldn't find the back of the net, and disaster struck when stoke scored near the end of the second half and hethersett did not have a responce.
