HETHERSETT ATHLETIC A v Taverham (Sunday 10th December 10.30)

Well Sunday saw a top of the table clash between Hethersett and Taverham. Hethersett started the game flying with a quick goal from Lewis Allen and a wonder goal 30 yard strike from left back Rob Pugh leaving Hethersett 2-0 up at half time.

Taverham however came out really strongly in the second half and started piling pressure onto the Hethersett goal and had a good chance deflected wide for a corner. From the resulting corner there was a scramble in defence and the ball was lashed into the net... 2-1. Hethersett could not get a foot hold into the game and with 10 minutes to go, Taverham equalised again from another corner..

The result leves Taverham and Hethersett in the top two of the league, however NCP are third two games in hand that could move them ahead.
